The day commences under a glorious, sun-filled sky as the operator presents Fatima with heartfelt gifts. Expressing her gratitude, Fatima and the operator initiate the filming, with Fatima beginning the preparation of a meal. In a compassionate gesture, Fatima takes a moment to provide water for the bees.
They soon recognize that the long-awaited time is upon them to harvest the honey crop. Amidst these activities, Fatima and the gardener engage in a significant discussion about scheduling a blood test. They formalize a plan to begin the first stage of their marriage on the morrow; they promise one another they will venture into the city to undergo the preliminary steps of their union. This involves their first crucial test to determine the compatibility of their blood, a foundational step for their marriage.
Following this, they plan to summon their local beekeeper. The call is made so the honey can be expertly removed from its frames, a process demanding a specific skill set. Recognizing they lack the necessary knowledge, Fatima and Ayub wisely decide to entrust this task to a professional.
A short time later, the beekeeper arrives and methodically extracts the honey frames one by one. He gives a glowing report on the bees' health, confirming that they have produced high-quality honey. He clarifies, however, that the main honey harvest from the other frames must occur in the coming days, as the peak time has not yet fully arrived. In roughly 10 days, another harvest will be necessary.
For now, they extract the frames brimming with honey, leaving the others in the hive. With the harvested frames secured, Fatima devises a plan to offer them for sale. She claims a portion of this virgin honey for herself, allocates a share to the gardener to sell, and entrusts the rest to the operator for safekeeping.
