Alex Starts Building a New Home for Tu Na — She Reacts with Gratitude… and Fear

Tu Na returns to the farm and is shocked to see major repairs already underway, with the unsafe kitchen area partially dismantled and the fish pond cleaned and reshaped.Alex explains he’s fixing the dangerous parts and preparing the land so Tu Na and Henry can live safer, especially with the cold season coming.Tu Na is grateful but worried—about money, about memories, and about losing the old structure that still feels like “hers.”
When she asks Alex not to destroy everything, Alex immediately agrees to preserve and reinforce the usable frame instead of tearing it all down.Alex urges Tu Na not to sleep at the dusty, unfinished farm that night and offers his home, but Tu Na refuses because she wants to stay close enough to care for her animals. They choose a practical compromise: Tu Na stays temporarily at Ba Tang’s house, and Alex personally asks Ba Tang for help.
That evening, the three share a warm, simple meal at Ba Tang’s, where Alex thanks her sincerely and promises to finish the farm improvements with respect. The episode ends with Tu Na feeling overwhelmed but steadier—because this time, change isn’t stealing her life… it’s being built around her.
