This branch of engineering relates to the study of services needed for prosperous living without disturbing the ecological balance. Taming of natural resources and using them for the development of the country, providing drinking water, public health and sanitation, road and inland water transport, hydro power generation, river and coastal protection, etc., are some of the jobs undertaken by Civil Engineers.
The students are given a concise study of civil subjects to equip them with sufficient knowledge in the field. There are lots of employment opportunities in the local administration as well as Govt. departments like PWD, Survey, Revenue, Irrigation and others

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
