MSc (Civil Engineering) at NUS College of Design and Engineering prepares engineers to address the challenges shaping modern infrastructure, from climate change and decarbonisation to ageing infrastructure, rapid urbanisation, and increasingly intelligent built environments. The programme brings together advanced design and analysis, digital engineering and data tools, urban transport planning, sustainable and resilient solutions, and geotechnical and underground expertise. In this video, Programme Director Dr Du Hongjian introduces the MSc in Civil Engineering at NUS CDE. With specialisations spanning structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, infrastructure digitalisation and management, transport and urban mobility, and sustainable climate resilience, the programme combines academic foundations with hands-on research, industrial exposure, and real-world engineering practice.
