A Hailstorm can decimate the produce in minutes. But this year we decided to install the proper anti-hail trellis system. The manufactures gave us the equipment and as we were half way through the installation, we realised it was more complex than we imagined.
Ultimately we had to call the manufacturers for help and we got some guidance on the phone. But in all this there was further delay and it hailed. Most of our apricots and plums were badly damaged.
But the nets had to be installed regardless.
